I called it HEARTS FOR HUMANITY the original goal was to create a global warming project where the kids made origami outdoors and learned about global warming from 350.org environmentalist. The project changed a bit because of a communication error with the school bus driver that drove them to another garden. Then it started raining so we couldn't be outdoors but we made this happen the garden was kind and gave us their hall to do the project in so students instead learned how to juggle, they also had a chance to tour the garden and hang out and listen to guest speakers talk about global warming and climate change. I personally feel like it turned out even better then what I originally set out for. Thank you all those who got involved to create a very cool 5th grade field trip.
