Nov 2008 students at Lincoln made art matter in a two day workshop/ Funky trash art project.
Titled: Imagination Heals the Planet –Creative Recycling workshop
Objective: To help students use their imagination in reusing litter, and found objects to make art.
Student Mission: For one day students had to collect “trash” from around school, and home then bring it to art class the following day. Students had to stay aware of the amount of materials they used through-out the day.
The objective was to talk to students about recycling and also allow them a creative way to use their imaginations and art technique to make 3-D abstract paintings.
The project was a part of the Lincoln Center – Eco trail walk November 2008.
